2020 Paint Color Trends

Its here! Its here! What am I so excited about you ask? I'm screaming from the roof top that the 2020 color trend pallets are out! Why you ask? Choosing the right color for a space is the beginning of setting the mood. A crucial step in any design. I absolutely love seeing the new color trends!

From lavish and exotic to modern and refined. Maybe you are going for a more romantic vintage feel or maybe a cozy and grounded feel. With these colors you can create many moods.

BEHR 2020 color trends are the following colors Cider Spice, Red Pepper, Bubble Shell, Dusty Lilac, Dragonfly, Rumba Orange, Creamy Mushroom, Blue Bird, Battleship Grey, Back To Nature, Charimatic, Secret Medow, Craphic Charcol and last but not least Painters White. Remember color is important! It is the first step in creating the space you desire! When I choose my colors I typically choose a few samples. I paint a very large square on two walls and make sure they are eye level so I can see them from a distance. (Light will affect the color) A good tip is to always use a primer before you use your chosen color. Without a primer you will not see the true color. If you are unsure of your color choices live with it for a few days and see what feels best and remember what your chosen mood was. With your end goal in mind you will always pick the right color!

I hope these colors get you as excited as they do me! Contact HopePliciy to set up a consultation at amanda@homeplicitydesign.com Happy color choosing!
